Trend for newspapers continue; NY Times ad revenue slips 3.8%, Online up 29.8%

New York Times Company announced today that in November 2006 advertising revenues for the Company’s business units from continuing operations decreased 3.8% and total Company revenues decreased 1.7% compared with November 2005. The Internet ad revenues rose 29.8% in November due to continued growth in both display and classified advertising.
