What’s Your Organization?

Peter Renton, founder of Lightning Labels in Denver, Colorado blogged about joining the Tag & Label Manufacturers Institute (TLMI). In his blog post Peter mentions his decision to join TLMI was based on staying on the forefront of changes in the label printing industry.

A number of industry groups and associations have emerged over the years to provide forums for printers to share ideas and stay on top of changes industry. A few months back Thad McIlroy asked What is your favorite industry association, the one you find most useful? on the Gilbane Publishing Practice Blog.

I always found TAGA and IS&T to be worthwhile, but I have been entrenched in the technical issues of the industry. What industry organizations and associations do you belong to?
